PROJECT OVERVIEW
Spectech was called in to address the waterproofing issues plaguing the rear besser block wall of a Nerang industrial complex. The wall had been experiencing leaks due to insufficient coating, gaps, and missing mortar in various areas. Our team was tasked with providing a comprehensive solution to rectify these issues and ensure the wall's long-term durability.
CHALLENGES
The project presented unique challenges, including the need to access the entire wall using a boom lift, extensive preparations for coatings, filling gaps and holes as necessary, re-fixing and sealing the flashing at the top of the wall, and applying a UV-stable elastomeric waterproof membrane across the entire surface. This membrane could also be tinted to match any desired color, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Spectech's dedicated team utilised a boom lift to gain access to the entire wall, ensuring no area was left untreated. We meticulously prepared the wall for coatings, addressing gaps and holes wherever needed. The flashing at the top of the wall was re-fixed and sealed to prevent future leaks. Finally, we applied a high-quality UV-stable elastomeric waterproof membrane, offering not only protection but also customisation options to suit the client's preferences.
